Just use a good fresh loaf of bread or even a day old (either whole wheat or multi grain or oats for a healthier option). If using homemade bread, then don’t slice the bread thickly or thinly. Onion Pakoda are a popular Indian street food as well. Like many Indian recipes, onion pakoda is made differently in various parts of India. It is one snack that is easy to prepare and tastes good too. Classic Onion Pakoda | Crispy Onion Fritters - Steps- Take a bowl. Add 2 onion- sliced. 1 inch chopped ginger. 2 chopped green chilli. Few chopped curry leaves. 2 tsp chopped coriander. 1/4th tsp turmeric. 1/2 tsp chilli powder. 1/4th tsp ajwain ( caraway). A pinch asafoetida ( hing). 1 cup besan ( gram flour). 2 tsp rice flour. 1/2 tsp salt. Combine well. Squeeze onions- do not add water. It releases moisture. Forms dough. Take Ball size pakoda.
